Looking to play a more active role in the Greater Kansas City community, The Asthma & Allergy Association of Kansas City, was in search of a complete rebrand. Previously the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, Greater Kansas City Chapter, the AAA-KC severed ties from the national organization to gain a stronger local foothold and better serve Kansas City and its surrounding areas as the best resource for asthma and allergies.
Rhycom had the opportunity to play a dynamic role in their transition, essentially naming the new organization and developing the brand and logo. The new logo is inspired by various allergen triggers, the iconography includes asthma and breathing, represented by the balloon, environmental allergies, represented by the flower, and food allergies, represented by the fork.
Rhycom also helped to design the logo for their Take A Breather fundraising event, taking place on October 17th. The event will benefit AAA-KC’s programs, events and advocacy.
