Manager, Business Development

Rhycom, an established marketing firm in Overland Park, KS is seeking a motivated individual to assist our client acquisition efforts. As Manager, Business Development you will prospect for and acquire new clients. The ideal candidate will be willing to jump right in, take the lead, use initiative and cultivate relationships while representing the Rhycom brand.  

You will assist in all aspects of the process by prospecting, cultivating, setting appointments and managing leads. You will obtain information about new client opportunities and schedule appointments and provide follow-up activities

Responsibilities:

  • Rigorously prospect for new business and follow-up with leads in the pipeline
  • Primary duties include outbound calling, e-mail and text communication and overall management of sales pipeline through the sales cycle
  • Manage cultivation of inbound sales inquiries to convert leads to appointments
  • Identify trends and customer needs, develop strategies that will lead to new business
  • Assist in the implementation of internal marketing strategies

Qualifications:

  • Successful track record in developing new business
  • Has excellent organizational, time management and follow-up skills
  • Is dynamic, articulate, and well-spoken
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to plan and manage resources
